Part 1: How to Get 100 Pulls and 80 Boopons in Zenless Zone Zero
The 100 free pulls and 80 free Boopons don’t come straight away. Instead, you have to play Zenless Zone Zero for some time to unlock different features and get all the free goodies. Some pulls come from events, while others await you in the mail.
Out of those 100 pulls, 70 of them are Master Tapes (standard banner pulls), 20 are Encrypted Master Tapes (event banner pulls), and 1,600 Polychrome (currency to buy Tapes). The Boopons are pulls for Bangboos. You can only spend them on the dedicated banner, and you can’t buy them for Polychrome.
Here’s the official breakdown of how to get 100 free pulls and 80 Boopons in Zenless Zone Zero:
1. Pre-registration rewards: 20 Master Tapes and five Boopons
The first, and one of the biggest, pull incomes that players will have will come from ZZZ’s pre-registration rewards.
The game has already exceeded its 40 million pre-registration goals, and to thank their players, the developers will be giving out 20 standard summons, or Master Tapes as they’re known in Zenless Zone Zero, 5 Boopons, and more.
All you have to do to claim these rewards is pre-register for the game, which can also be skipped, and then get into the game when it is released on July 4th.
2. Cunning Generosity event: 10 Master Tapes
Starting with the in-game events, we have the [Cunning Generosity]. This is a simple welcome gift event that will reward players with 10 Master Tapes.
To claim the free pulls from this event, all you have to do is log into the game when it releases.
As for the duration of the event, it is as follows:
DURATION: July 04, 2024–August 13, 2024
So make sure to do so before the 13th of August, or they’ll be gone forever.
3. New City Visitor’s Passport daily login event: 10 Encrypted Master Tapes
The second event that we’ll cover is also the first login event, and it will give out a total of 10 Encrypted Master Tapes, which are the game’s premium pull currency.
To get all 10 pulls, you will have to sign in to the game for a total of 7 days during the following period: July 04, 2024–August 13, 2024
This event requires you to only sign in and nothing more, so if you’re planning on playing, don’t forget to claim these pulls daily!
4. Sixth Street Giveaway daily login event: 10 Encrypted Master Tapes
Sixth Street Giveaway is yet another check-in event that also rewards players with 10 Encrypted Master Tapes upon full completion.
To complete this event, all you have to do is check in to the game for a total of 7 days during the following period:July 04, 2024 - August 13, 2024
5. “En-Nah” Into Your Lap daily login event: 10 Boopons
“En-nah” Into Your Lap is the third check-in event of this version, but unlike the other two, this event gives out Boopons, which are used to summon on the Bangboo banner.
The event rewards a total of 10 Boopons, which are spread out over 7 days. Similar to the previous check-in event, you have to check in for a total of 7 days to get all the rewards.
The period for this event is: July 04, 2024–August 13, 2024
6. Road to Proxy Greatness level-up rewards: 40 Master Tapes, 1,600 Polychrome, and 65 Boopons (split between milestones)
The final event that will give out wishes in the release version of ZZZ is known as [Road to Proxy Greatness], and unlike the others, this is not a check-in event.
This event will have you increasing your account level or Inter-Knot Lv., as it’s known in Zenless Zone Zero. Upon reaching a certain Inter-Knot level, you will get a nice reward in the form of free pulls.
This event will be indefinitely available after the release of the game, so you don’t need to worry about rushing to level 30.
Once you reach Inter-Knot Lv. 30, you will get a total of:
- 40 Master Tape
- 65 Boopons
- 1600 Polychromes
Combine this with all the previous events and pre-registration rewards, and you’re looking at the following pull income:
- Encrypted Master Tape x20
- Master Tape x70
- Boopons x80
- Polychrome x1600
This will be more than enough to get you one S-Rank Bangboo and maybe an S-Rank character or two. We’ll be keeping you updated with more information on the game when it gets released, so make sure to check back often.
The pre-registration rewards arrive almost immediately through in-game mail, but the events require playtime to unlock. Follow the main missions until around Inter-Knot level eight, which takes a few hours at most. However, not all the mentioned events are available on launch day. The Sixth Street Giveaway daily login event, for example, only starts on July 11.
The majority of these free pulls come from increasing your Inter-Knot level, which is ZZZ‘s version of Adventure Rank from Genshin Impact or Trailblaze Level from Honkai: Star Rail. The rewards await you at level five, 15, 20, 25, and 30. You can reach the first few milestones fairly quickly, but the rest require much more grinding.
