Additional Changes

Alongside the introduction of the limited-time mode, minor adjustments have been made to squad options. In Battle Royale on Urzikstan, the Duos option has been removed. Additionally, Quads and Solos have been taken out from Resurgence: Rebirth Island and Map Rotation, respectively.

It’s been some time since popular modes like Plunder, Buy Back, and Lockdown appeared in playlist updates. The next patch is expected to bring only minor adjustments to squad options, without any major changes.

The developers also introduced three new locations in Urzikstan for the limited-time mode called Urzikstan Resurgence: Orlov Military Base, Popov Power, and Zaravan Suburbs. These areas are specially designed for intense battles, with Resurgence gameplay offering fast-paced action.

Additionally, all squad sizes will remain available for Battle Royale throughout Season 1, giving players the freedom to team up with different squad sizes for varied gameplay experiences.

As Ashika Island and Vondel expand the playlist on December 8, Lockdown fans can expect the mode to return in an in-season update set for early 2024. A new limited-time mode, Slay Ride Resurgence (a holiday-themed mode), is also on the horizon, offering players festive fun later in the year.

In this mode, up to 100 players drop in with just a handgun, scavenging for weapons, equipment, and supplies as they fight to be the last team or player standing. Over the course of about 20 minutes, the playable area shrinks as lethal gas encroaches, intensifying the action until only one victor remains.

Plunder

In Plunder, the objective is not survival, but to collect the most cash. This non-Battle Royale mode allows for redeployment, with teams competing to either hit $2 million first or end the timer with the highest amount of cash. Resurgence
